We founded Engarre when we realized that universal, "desk-made" solutions from Europe simply do not work in the Tanzanian bush. If we wanted to truly help in Mbogoi, we first had to live there, listen, and respect the local way of life. We are not here to build monuments; we solve the practical things that people in this part of Lengusero actually lack – so they can live a better and more dignified life in their rapidly changing world.
We believe in aid that is direct and personal. That is why we do not operate as an anonymous sender of funds, but as a team that physically implements and monitors every project on the ground.
